Overview

Index Details are free tools that allow Stakehouse users to monitor the performance of indexes and validators within the Stakehouse protocol. The tool’s holistic view and dashboards give users the transparency they need to efficiently manage, optimize, and compare validator performance across indexes.

Index Dashboard

At the top of the page, users can view the index dashboard. This displays the overall performance metrics for the selected validator index. Specific features include:

  1. Total Rewards Earned - Total dETH rewards earned in the index.

  2. Index Assets - Total Assets in the index (dETH & savETH).

  3. Current Index Yield - APR of dETH within the Index.

  4. Index Yield Chart - Yield over time for dETH & savETH compared with the Open Index yield (hourly, daily, & weekly).

  5. Index Search Field - Use this field to search for an index.

  6. Other Index Details:

  • Index ID - The unique ID number associated with this index.

  • Validators in the Index - The number of validators within the index.

  • Contract Exchange Rate - The sum of dETH earned plus the initial 24 dETH balance divided by the initial 24 dETH balance. This is in reference to the Consensus Layer APR.

  • Live Exchange Rate - The sum of dETH earned plus the initial 24 dETH balance divided by the initial 24 dETH balance. This is based on the last Balance Report.

  • Index Yield Rate - The seven-day moving average of all validators' yields within the index.

  • All Indexes - The seven-day moving average of all indexes' yields.

  • Redemption Rate - The amount of sETH required to burn per SLOT token in the LSD Network. In other words, it represents delta increase against the exchange rate when there is leakage.

Validator List

The validator list displays important information about the individual validators within the selected index. The metrics and features include:

  1. Health Status - Overall health indicator for a validator (green = nominal, yellow = needs attention, red = issue).

  2. Current Delta - The real-time difference between the validator's current yield and the yield on the most recent Balance Report.

  3. dETH Earned - The total amount of dETH earned by the validator.

  4. Percent of dETH Earned - The proportion of dETH the validator has earned for the selected index.

  5. Validator Search - The quick search for any validator within the index.

  6. Health Status Toggle - Filter through validators based on their health status.

If a validator’s address text is yellow, this means that it belongs to the Open Index. If a validator’s address text is white, this means that it belongs to the selected index.

Quickly copy a validator’s address or view it on Beacon Chain by clicking the icons next to the validator’s address in the list. Click on a validator’s address to view its detailed information.

Validator Health Properties

Click on a validator’s status indicator on the left side of the validator list to open a pop-up containing information about its health properties. The aggregate status of these individual properties influences a validator’s overall health status. The health properties include:

  1. Validator Penalties - The number of SLOT tokens leaked or slashed. Green = Less than 2, Yellow = 2 to 4, Red = Greater than 4.

  2. Consensus Layer & Execution Layer - Checks for differences between consensus layer and execution layer balances after the most recent Balance Report. Green = 100% accountability between derivatives and the validator balance. Red = The validator balance does not exceed the derivatives minted.

  3. Staking Yield Received - Verifies that derivatives minted and the validator balance have not exceeded a 1:1 ratio. Green = Validator balance is greater than or equal to dETH minted. Red = Validator balance is less than dETH minted.

Validator Dashboards

Each validator has its own dashboard that displays its respective performance metrics. These metrics include:

  1. Current Validator Yield Rate - APR of dETH within the validator.

  2. Interactive Yield Chart - View a validator’s current and past APR, consensus layer APR, and Balance Reports (hourly, weekly, & daily).

  3. Validator Details:

  • Stakehouse - The Stakehouse in which the validator is located.

  • Validator Address - The validator’s public key.

  • Total dETH Earned - The total amount of dETH the validator has earned on the consensys layer, which will most likely differ from the balance shown on the Stakehouse dapp.

  • Exchange Rate - The sum of dETH earned plus the initial 24 dETH balance divided by the initial 24 dETH balance. The exchange rate should never go down.

  • Current Delta - The validator’s current yield rate compared with the yield from its last Balance Report.

  • Validator Status - The metric that shows whether the validator is eligible for Ethereum Rewards or not.

  • Available Top Ups - The amount of ETH available to top up the validator. This takes into account the live slashings and reported top ups.
