Rage quitting is the action of exiting the Stakehouse registry. It requires burning all corresponding derivative tokens including SLOT and dETH. This will result in removing the KNOT from Stakehouse. All validators able to Rage Quit Stakehouse. To complete this process, a user must have the amount of dETH associated with the validator in their wallet. The amount can be determined using the Stakehouse user profile. If the validator has leaked and the total balance is less than 32 ETH, then the validator owner will have to top-up the validator with the minimum amount to remove the KNOT.

Removing the KNOT does not remove your validator from the Ethereum network. However, once a user Rage Quits they still maintain ownership and management rights of their validator, but outside the Stakehouse registry. Users can rejoin Stakehouse, however the same validator can not be used.
